Emotional but proud

Genuinely emotional day today. So proud to be out in my community. But very moved by all the stories & concerns that our people have. It's hard not to get angry, when you meet so many people suffering in difficult circumstances, afraid of their future.

But my heart is fit to bust with this tweet from an ex-student. Gemma is an amazingly gifted, young lady; running to become the Labour MP for Mid Sussex. If people like her can get elected, we can really save this country.

It gives you hope.
